Algerian security services have launched an investigation into “Karbalan bin Laden” Group’s deals and major projects in the sector of construction.
Investigations of the Algerian security came as a response to Saudi embassy’s request to launch investigations into this group’s deals and projects in Algeria.
Bin Laden’s group started investing in Algeria after an agreement with Saudi Arabia in 2016, the Aram News website reported.
The source added that the Saudi embassy had contacted the Foreign Ministry and the security services, in addition to the Algerian tax administration to launch a wide investigation into the investments of Saudi businessman Bakr bin Laden accused of corruption.
