The French Minister of Europe and International Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian arrived Sunday, in Algiers, as part of the 4th session of the Algerian-French Joint Economic Committee (COMEFA) and the 4th session of the Algerian-French Strategic dialogue.
Mr. Le Drian, accompanied by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Bruno Le Maire, was welcomed, on his arrival at Houari-Boumediene International Airport, by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdelkader Messahel.
The heads of diplomacy of the two countries will co-chair the fourth session of the COMEFA in the morning in the presence of the Algerian side, the Minister of Industry and Mines, Youcef Yousfi and, on the French side, the Minister of Economy and Trade. finances.
The two sides “will focus, essentially, on the review of the state of the bilateral economic partnership and the prospects for its expansion and densification,” said a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Agreements will be signed on this occasion.
