In the latest survey of MMR institute on the last week of September, based on a sample of 2,457 people living in Algiers, Constantine, Oran, Setif, Bejaia, Tlemcen and Chlef, The Algerian Private channel “Ennahar TV” has beaten its direct competitor “Echorouk TV” in terms of audience.
Ennahar TV won a record audience share estimated by MMR at 27.08%, followed by Samira TV with 18.89%, Echorouk TV 18.81% and A3 channel in 4th position with 12.13%.
The peak audience of Ennahar TV has started at 9:00 pm and continues until 10:45 pm, reaching its peak between 9:00 pm and 9:15 pm with around 6.3 million viewers.
Regarding the penetration of news channels, Ennahar TV is almost alone in the lead with 56.71%, followed by Echorouk News which got only 23.33%.
In cumulative week, Ennahar TV captured 11.2 million viewers, ahead of Echorouk in 2nd position and the return of MBC4 in 3rd position with about 8 million viewers.
