Three people have been killed and two were in serious condition, after being wounded on Wednesday, at a company park in northeastern Maryland (USA), several media said.
The Sheriff of Harford County, where Edgewood is located, said that when they arrived four minutes after being notified, the police found “five people with gunshot wounds. Three couldn’t survive”.
“Talking about the motives (of the suspect) would be premature”, said Jeffrey Gahler, at a press point of a few minutes. “It seems like a targeted attack against this company” he identified as Advanced Granite Solutions, specializing in kitchen worktops.
He said the suspect was “associated” with this company and had a criminal record, without further details. He is a 37-year-old black man, whose photo he waved in front of the cameras, identified as Radee Labeeb Prince and who used a single handgun.
“Armed and dangerous,” he fled into a black Chevrolet Acadia vehicle registered in Delaware, eastern state that adjoins Maryland.
