Algeria- Football: Federal Bureau makes pressure on FAF’s President to dismiss Alcaraz

Federal officials have unanimously agreed that Spanish coach, Lucas Alaraz, should leave the National Football team, before facing Nigeria, in the 6th round of qualifiers for Russia’s World Cup 2018.

The Federal Bureau has held its regular meeting, since Wednesday morning, making pressure on the FAF President “Khireddine Zetchi” do dismiss “Alcaraz” as soon as possible.

Ennahar online has confirmed that the members prefer to dismiss Alcaraz before the match of the last round against Nigeria in the qualifiers of the World Cup, to be held in Russia 2018.

A former player of Algeria “Djamel Belmadi” is expected to replace the Spaniard coach, if the Algerian Federation makes its final decision to dismiss Alcaraz, Ennahar TV reported.

According to Ennahar TV, the FAF’s President has phoned Belmadi, Thursday evening, asking him about the possibility to coach the Algerian team. However, there is no official information which confirms the dismissal of Alcaraz yet.
