Algeria, Russia ink 5 partnership and cooperation agreements

Algeria and Russia has inked five partnership and cooperation agreements and memorandum of understanding, on Tuesday in Algiers, during the two-day official visit to Algeria by Russian Prime Minister, Dmitry Medvedev, APS reported.

Inked in the presence of Prime Minister, Ahmed Ouyahia, and his Russian counterpart, as well as several ministers from both countries, these agreements mainly concern the justice, health, vocational training, hydrocarbon and civil nuclear sectors.

The first agreement, initialed by the Minister of Justice, Tayeb Louh, and his Russian counterpart, Alexandr Konovalov, deals with cooperation and mutual legal assistance between both countries, especially in the criminal field.
