Turkish President “Erdogan” threatens to carry out a military campaign in Iraq

Turkish President “Recep Tayyip Erdogan” has threatened, on Monday, to carry out a military campaign in Iraqi Kurdistan.

Erdogan said all options are on the table to address the referendum on the secession of the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

Erdogan stressed that his country has repeated the military campaign in northern Iraq, as it did in northern Syria.

Erdogan said efforts by the PKK to establish a state in northern Syria were only dreams, pointing out that this issue for Ankara is a matter of national security.

Erdogan also stressed that all options to prevent the Kurds from establishing their state are available.

Erdogan also expressed Turkey’s intention to take additional measures at the border with the Kurdistan region of Iraq this week.

He confirmed that transit is currently allowed to the Iraqi side only.
