The visit, which is part of the strengthening of cooperation between Algeria and the United Kingdom, will take place “at the level of the residence of this diplomatic representative in the presence of Algerian investors,” said the diplomat, during a meeting with the operators of the wilaya of Tizi-Ouzou, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Djurdjura (CCID) at the Hotel Les Trois Roses.
“This meeting aims to strengthen the relations between the investors of the two countries,” he said, adding: “We are ready to establish a connection between the United Kingdom and Algeria” .
The Ambassador of the United Kingdom in Algeria stated that he will give invitations to business leaders from the Tizi-Ouzou wilaya activating in the hydrocarbons sector to attend this reception in order to meet potential partners in Scotland, adding that the visit will be an opportunity for investors from both countries to establish direct contacts.
The other event announced by Mr Noble is the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the landing of Allied troops in Algeria (in 1942), in collaboration with the Ministries of National Defense and Foreign Affairs, on 8 November, “an important episode “of History in which” Algeria has played a global role to put an end to Hitler’s brutal regime, “he said.
“This event will also be an occasion to commemorate the sacrifice of the children of this country and especially of the Algerian mothers who were involved in this war. A sacrifice that has not been commemorated enough. ”
