The President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, carried out, on Thursday, a partial reorganization of the government, following the appointment of Ahmed Ouyahia, replacing Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
Among the new ministers nominated by Bouteflika, the schist man, Youcef Yousfi, who regains the government left in 2015, after disputes and intense controversy against its proposed shale gas exploration.
A man with a rich history and solid experience, he held several senior positions in the state, including Foreign Minister and, on several occasions, the Ministry of Energy. He also served as Chief of Staff of the Presidency of the Republic.
Youcef Yousfi, thus, took the head of a sector trolling, shaken in particular by several controversies relating to the automotive assembly activity. The new minister’s mission is to restore order and restart industrial machine, one of the keys to boosting non-hydrocarbon revenues, especially since oil and gas export revenues have been declining for three years.
With the appointment of Ouyahia as head of government, the return of Yousfi and Benmeradi, President Bouteflika emerged from former jokers to manage the next social return at first and then negotiate the last turn before 2019.
