A tribute to Amar Ezzahi, passed away in November 2016, led by singer Kamel Aziz is scheduled for December 3 at the Institute of the Arab World (IMA) in Paris, announced the organizers, APS reported.
Amar Ezzahi, the singer of the Chaabi song, had reigned supreme over this popular genre, to which he had devoted more than 50 years of his life. A popular funeral was organized in the streets of Algiers, attended by thousands of fans from all over Algeria.
Since its creation in 1987, the IMA, an institution with a cultural vocation, has been promoting cultures of the Arab countries.
