Algeria- Football: MC Algiers appoints a new coach

Frenchman, Bernard Casoni, has become the new coach of Algerian Football club MC Algiers, APS reported on Thursday.

In a search of a new coach, after the departure of Kamel Mouassa, and the refusals of the Egyptian Hassan Shehata, as well as the Spaniard Fernando Vasquez, the MCA has set its sights on the former coach of Armenia, who disembarked at Algiers, Wednesday, at the end of the day.
After negotiating with the general manager of Dean “Kamel Kaci-Saïd” the terms of his contract, Casoni (55) initialed his lease with the MCA in the presence of the Chairman of the Board  SSPA / MCA Directors, Zaïd Laâdj, who promised the supporters to bring a foreign coach.

During his coaching career, Casoni has led several clubs, whether in France (Marseille, Bastia, Auxerre or Lorient, which sacked him after the relegation of the team in Ligue 2 at the end of the 2016-2017 season), or abroad (in Tunisia especially with ES Sahel, Tunisian Stadium and the African Club),
