NHRC reports violations conducted against Qatari investors in UAE

The National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) has reported that UAE has been violating the rights of Qatari investors who have private property in the Emirates, Gulf Times reported.

In a statement, the committee called on the UAE not to violate investor rights amid ongoing political dispute with its Gulf neighbour or to use them as a tool of political pressure in flagrant violation of the international human rights conventions.

In this aspect,  the NHRC pointed to the harsh and stark violations of the siege on Qatar and how it violates a range of civil, economic, social and cultural rights, including the right to own property.
