The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) and its Zambian counterpart (FAZ) signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Lusaka on bilateral cooperation in technical, administrative and medical fields. The Algerian Football Association was represented by Djahid Zefizef, Head of the Finance Committee and responsible for the national team, while the Zambian Federation was represented by Mr. Ponga Liwewe, Secretary General.
This co-operation includes the organization of friendly matches between the youth selections of both nations and between the women’s selections too.
Similarly, the FAF will give FAZ its experience in setting up and organizing professional local championships besides offering its medical facilities for the care of Zambian footballers, says the FAF on its official website.
This Memorandum of Understanding came into force on June 17.
