Despite draconian measures taken by the Ministry of Education and the various security services of Algeria, fraud via social networks websites, including Facebook, could not be prevented during this first day of examination of the Baccalaureate exceptional special session.
The subject of Islamic education has been published on the Facebook page “Bac 2017 Yes We Can”, half an hour, after the start of the event. The candidate who posted the picture of the subject asked the Internet users to provide the answers.
On their part, Internet users have provided the answers by posting pictures of drafts.
As a reminder, the mobile internet network, 3G and 4G, has been suspended on Thursday, during the examination hours, and special cell to monitor the social networks has been also installed by the gendarmerie. However, all these measures have not been able to stop the phenomenon of Facebook fraud.
