The 1st Military Region (MR) team won the 45th edition of the Algerian Military Football Cup, beating their counterpart of the 5th RM on the score of 3-2 (half-time: 2 -2) in the final, held on Wednesday, at 5-July Stadium (Algiers), APS reported on Wednesday.
The goals of the 1st RM have been scored by Noureddine Khan (19th), Brahim Sayed (30th), Mohamed Amine Sellam (47th), while 5th RM’s goals were scored by Ahmee Mekhalfa (34th) and Abdellah Djebarni (42nd).
Besides the Military Algeria Cup, the 1st RM also managed to win the national championship, thus winning the double of the 2016-2017’s season.
