Riyad Mahrez would favour a transfer to Arsenal ahead of Chelsea and Liverpool because he’d like to work under Arsene Wenger, Le Buteur reported.
Le Buteur claimed that the 26-year-old Leicester City star would want to link up with the Gunners boss at The Emirates because he is a big fan of the Frenchman.
The same report states that Chelsea and Liverpool have been credited with an interest in signing Mahrez this summer but that the African’s fondness of Wenger could prove decisive in a transfer.
According to the same story, Mahrez is currently relaxing on holiday with his young family in the Maldives.
