ISIS has claimed responsibility for Iran’s twin terrorist attacks that targeted Iran’s parliament and the Mausoleum of Ayatollah Khomeini, AFP reported quoting the terrorist group’s Amaq news agency said.
Attackers raided Iran’s parliament and opened fire at the Mausoleum of Ayatollah Khomeini a few kilometres south of the capital today morning, near another attack that killed up to seven people, media reported.
Tasmin news agency said there were unconfirmed reports that the attackers had taken four hostages inside the parliament building.
The attackers killed seven people and wounded several others, Tasmin said.
