President Donald Trump inked, on Thursday, a waiver to delay relocationg US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, said the White House.
Trump decided to continue his predecessors’ policy so as to maximise chances for peace between the Palestinian and the Zionists.
Still, a U.S. official said Trump is still committed to his campaign pledge and would eventually fulfill it within time.
“He has repeatedly stated his intention to move the embassy,” the White House said in a statement. “The question is not if that move happens, but only when.”
