The UN condemns a terrorist attack targeted peacekeeping mission in Mali

The United Nations Security Council condemned, on Wednesday, the “most severe” terrorist attack that killed two Chadian peacekeepers in Mali, calling on Malian parties to implement Algerian peace agreement “without further delay.”.

“Members of the Security Council called upon the Government of Mali to investigate these attacks promptly and bring the perpetrators to justice,” the 15-member council said in a unanimously agreed statement.

In the same regard, the Security Council called upon the parties in Mali to fully implement their peace agreement without further delay.
