Algeria ratifies 2 MoUs with Iran and Netherlands, amends agreement with France

Algeria has ratified two Memoranda of Understanding with Iran and the Netherlands, as well as amended  an agreement with France, according to presidential decrees inked by the Head of State, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, in the last edition of the official Gazette, APS reported.

The Memorandum of Understanding with the Islamic Republic of Iran, signed in Algiers on 17 December 2015, deals with Higher Education and Scientific Research. It aims at boosting and encouraging direct cooperation between universities and higher education institutions and visits by officials, academics and experts from both countries for the exchange of experiences.

The second Memorandum of Understanding inked with the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Algiers on 26 September 2016 concerns the field of plant protection.

Concerning the amendment of  an agreement on the creation of the Ecole Supérieure des Affaires (ESAA), signed with France in Algiers on 10 April 2016, the school is under the supervision of the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and industry. Its mission is to provide diploma courses in management  as well as trainings.
