The CEO of the National Interurban Transport Company (SNRTI), Karim Daoues, announced that the Gafsa-El Oued (Algeria) land line will soon be reopened, webdo.tn web site reported on Friday.
A daily bus will be provided on this line linking the city of Gafsa and the province of El Oued in Algeria, crossing the cities of Metlaoui, Tozeur, Nefta and Hezoua, added th source.
SNTRI’s CEO added that 60 new buses will be bought by the company, in addition to the 50 buses used purchased from Europe, webdo said.
Moreover, the source pointed out that this line hasn’t been used since 26 years.
It should be recalled that the CEO of the Tunisian national railway company SNCFT, Sara Rejeb, had announced the resumption of travel on the Tunis-Annaba railway line (Algeria) at the beginning of this month, the source concluded.
