The National Liberation Front (FLN) party lost three seats at the new People’s National Assembly (Lower House) as the Constitutional Council announced Thursday the results of the examination of the appeals lodged by the parties and candidates, following the 4 May Legislative Elections, APS reported.
Thus, the FLN party won 161 seats, against the previously announced 164. Three political parties; namely HMS Alliance, Tadjamoua Amel El Djazair and the Algerian National Front (FNA) have got one additional seat each.
Subsequently, the HMS Alliance won 34 seats, against 33, Tadjamoua Amel El Djazair 20 seats (against 19) and the FNA won 1 seat.
