Algeria’s Amina Bettiche won the bronze medal of the 1500m on Friday, on the occasion of the 4th day of the athletics events of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games.
For her second score on the Olympic Stadium track, Bettiche managed to climb for the second time on the podium of the Games, after obtaining her silver medal, last Wednesday.
On the 1500m, the 29-year-old Algerian took third place (4: 21.29).
This new medal in athletics is added to the 3 others gleaned Thursday by Romaissa Tahani Belabiod, Yousra Arar and Amine Belferar.
Algeria has 36 medals (7 gold, 12 silver and 17 bronze) thanks to this new feat of Bettiche. However, she has been relegated to a 6th position overall.
