The Constitutional Council announced, on Thursday, that 20 appeals were admissible and 275 others were rejected among the 295 appeals filed by the political parties and independent candidates that run in the legislative elections of 4 May 2017, APS reported.
The Constitutional Council have declared admissible 20 appeals and rejected 275 others out of the 295 appeals examined.
As a result, the FLN party won 161 seats, against the previously announced 164. Three political parties; namely HMS Alliance, Tadjamoua Amel El Djazair and the Algerian National Front (FNA) have got one additional seat each.
Subsequently, the HMS Alliance won 34 seats, against 33, Tadjamoua Amel El Djazair 20 seats (against 19) and the FNA won 1 seat.
