Abdelmadjid Bouzid School of Application: Graduation of 11th batch of police lieutenants

The Minister of the Interior and Local Assemblies, Noureddine Bedoui, chaired, on Thursday the ceremony of the graduation of 11th batch of police  lieutenants of   Soumaà’s  National Security Application School, Abdelmadjid Bouzid, in the province of Blida, APS reported.

The  batch was named after the shahid of duty,  Medouar Rabah. With 441 elements, the outgoing promotion benefited from a theoretical and applied training of 24 months in various law and technical modules and general freedoms, along with training in line with current developments in this field.

Some 139 other elements have benefited from special training sessions in the field of driving vehicles and motorcycles (law enforcement and penitentiary units) at the school.

In addition to the Director General of National Security (DGSN), General Major Abdelghani Hamel, the ceremony was attended by Ministers of Housing, Education, Health, Population and Reform, respectively: Abdelmadjid Teboune, Nouria Benghebrit, Abdelmalek Boudiaf, Mohamed Ghazi, Azzeddine Mihoubi and Mohamed Mebarki.

Many officials and executives from different companies also attended the ceremony.

In this aspect, exhibitions in various combat sports were  presented to the guests, in addition to an exercise simulating a fight between informal vendors, during which a group of offenders attempted to infringe public order.

The chahid of duty, the police officer, Medouar Rabah, was born on  September 1st 1939 in Boufarik. He joined the police in December 1964 as a security guard at the Sidi Bel Abbes Police School before being promoted to various posts and services.

He died on November 11, 1992, under the murderous bullets of terrorists.
