2017’s Legislatives: FLN still in the lead, snatching 164 seats followed by RND (100)

The Constitutional Council released, on Monday evening, the provisional results of the legislative elections, held on May 4th 2017, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and the Electoral Law.

The Constitutional Council stated that the number of voters is estimated at 8,225,223, while the turnout is set at 35.37%.

The number of invalid ballots is 1,757,043.

In this aspect, the National Liberation Front (NLF) party is still in the lead, snatching  164 seats, followed by the National Democratic Rally (RND) with 100 seats and the HMS Alliance with 33 seats .
