The Spanish coach of the Algerian football team, Lucas Alcarez, has expressed his impressions in an exclusive interview to Ennahar TV, after spending around two weeks in Algeria, as he talked about his interaction with local players, during the national team’s training in the technical center, while preparing in the region of Sidi Moussa, (Algiers).
Lucas has thanked the Algerians for their reception, praising the enthusiastic atmosphere he witnessed, during his tours of Algerian stadiums during the past few weeks.
The fennecs’ coach said that he has not had enough time to spend it apart of his job, as he didn’t leave Sidi Moussa headquarters, where he is focusing on training only.
Lucas hailed the strong relationship which is shared between Algerian funs and Football in general, besides he pointed out that he has visited several stiduims in Algiers and Oran.
In the same vein, he hailed supporters’ behavior towards the national team’s coach Wahid Halilovic, adding that it is possible to fulfill achievements in case all is included in help.
As for critics against him since arrival in Algeria, Alcarez he called on the public to postpone critics and to wait for results of a work is underway.
