An 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit central Indonesia on Saturday, said the Indonesian Meteorological and Geophysics Agency.
The earthquake was located 246 km northwest of Sanjie Island.
The Indonesian agency warned of a tsunami.
No casualties have been reported yet.
