A cultural interpretation center will be realized on tourist site of Ghoufi, in the commune of Ghassira (Batna), said Thursday Azzedine Guerfi, president of the Medghassène association, on the sidelines of a study day on this project, APS reported.
Study on this project, which is part of local development operations of Aures part, will be completed in 4 or 5 months, said Mr. Guerfi, the same source added.
Organized as part of Heritage Month, this day aims to “define the means necessary for project realization, its structure, modalities of its financing, as well as the outline of its scientific and cultural plan”.
In the same regard, Several conferences on layout of the site were presented during the meeting which led to setting up of two committees, one in charge of guidance and the other on the scientific side, able to supervise the various phases of implementation.
UNESCO Cultural Commission’s expert, Rachid Hadj Salah, presented a paper on organization’s support mechanisms for cultural projects and expressed readiness of UNESCO to accompany the association in expertise, Training and the financing of part of the project.
Held at the youth hostel Ghoufi, the study day brought together specialists in cultural sites valorisation , architects, Agency representatives for Social Development, National Agency for Management of Micro-credit (ANGEM) And the National Youth Employment Support Agency (ANSEJ) and local authorities.
Furthermore, a visit will be organized Friday to the site which will host the cultural interpretation center on one of the balconies of Ghoufi.
Site of 1,800 m2 of which 300 m2 built houses unused premises made available to the project by the municipality of Ghassira.
