The Minister of Maghreb Affairs, the African Union and the League of Arab States, Abdelkader Messahel, confirmed, in the city of Misrata (Libya), the existence of “a strong will over reach peaceful solutions through the Libyan-Libyan dialogue inside country.”, Radio Algerie reported.
Masahel, after a series of meetings that he held from Thursday until Friday night in Misurata ( western Libya), “noted the strong will of the Libyans to reach peaceful solutions through Libyan-Libyan political dialogue inside Libya,” stressing that he recognized this will in all places he visited starting from Al-Bayda and Benghazi to Zintan, Tripoli and Misurata.
He also reiterated that Algeria “believes the solution can only be through the Libyans themselves through a comprehensive political dialogue without exclusion or marginalization,” stressing that “the Libyans are able to do so away from any foreign interference in the Libyan issue.”
It is noteworthy that Minister Mesahel held an important delegation accompanying him on Thursday in Misratah on his fifth stop in the framework of his tour in Libya intensive meetings with military officials, politicians or civilians, or clergy or representatives of civil society.
The Algerian delegation met with military commanders of the “Al Binian Al-marsous”, a group of deputies, representatives of the “Political Gathering”, representatives of the city’s Senate and a group of young people and civic activists in the city.
