165 Sports facilities projects, juveniles realized in Relizane

The Minister of Youth and Sports, El Hadi Ould Ali, has stressed, on Monday at Relizane (west Algeria), that this province has benefited from 165 projects, in which 90 per cent of them have been completed, for the construction of sports and juvenile facilities, during the last three five-year periods, APS reported on Tuesday.

During a press briefing on the sidelines of his working visit in Relizane Province, the minister recalled that the State has allocated an amount of DA 8 billion, for the realization of these facilities and equipment, for the benefit of young people including complexes of Proximity, swimming pools and youth centers.

The official said that 90 per cent of the projects have been completed, insisting on the completion of the remaining programs to be put rapidly into operation.

The minister called on young people in the region to make better use of local sport facilities, which can host national and international events.

El Hadi Ould Ali began his visit by inaugurating in the region of Remka, a nearby pool, a sports hall as well as a youth center in Ammi Moussa region, a sports complex nearby Sidi Khattab region, where he listened to young people’s concerns.

The Minister has inaugurated the new headquarters of Juvenile Settlement Office (ODEJ), and the baptizing of the youth center, on behalf of chahid Abdelkader Belagraa.

He, then, met with representatives of associations and sports movement at Relizane Culture Center.

On site he honored the champions in different disciplines by providing grants through the National Fund for promoting youth initiatives and sports practices for 30 clubs whose CPR (first professional league), Chabab Oued Rhiou (2nd professional league) with an amount of DA 4 million and 1.5 million for each clubs to Affak Relizane (women’s championship), Majd Zemmoura and Sidi M’hammed Benali.

For a question about the recruitment of the new coach of the national football team, El Hadi Ould Ali indicated that the MJS does not give importance to the notoriety or not of this coach.

“Only results of his performance will be taken in consideration”, he added.
