Aiming at encouraging the Algerian high school and university students for considering the studying in US, the American Embassy has announced the organization of a fair, which is expected to be launched on April 24, at the Palais de la Culture in Algiers, US Embassy reported on Friday.
Admission representatives from 20 public and private U.S. universities will gather with interested students, to give them information about their degree programs and application requirements.
All of Arkansas Tech University, DePaul University, Georgetown University in Qatar, Kansas State University, Kent State University, New York University in Abu Dhabi, Northern Illinois University, Savanah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Siena College, Shoreline Community College, St. Cloud State University, State University of New York (SUNY) Plattsburgh, Suffolk University, Temple University, University of Colorado Boulder, University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Valencia College, and Virginia Tech, will participate in this event.
Three workshops will offer some advice about how to apply to U.S. institutions, and how to obtain TOEFL and IELTS tests, as well as how to finance education.
Algerian youth and their parents are invited to attend, since the Embassy has made this fair open to the public.
