Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner pays surprise visit to Iraq

Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner have traveled to Iraq  amid the US military’s ongoing campaign against alleged Daesh (ISIL), MailOnline reported.

Kushner, tasked by Trump with trying to bring peace to the Middle East, is accompanied  with chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Marine General Joseph Dunford, multiple media outlets report.

In this aspect, media revealed that Kushner wanted to see Iraq for himself and provide support to the Iraqi government.
Kushner’s visit to Iraq was not announced in advance. Other details about the trip are not being released and the purpose of the visit is not clear.

It is worth recalling that the United States is leading an international coalition fighting ISIS.
