Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal inaugurated Saturday a private Saharan tourism complex ” La Gazelle d’Or ”, located at the western entrance of the city of El-Oued, on the road leading to the province of Ouargla (South Algeria), APS reported.
The complex extends over an area of 160 hectares, and built according to the international standards, was launched in 2008 for an investment of DA 10 billion, offers accommodation capacity of 542 beds.
Moreover, ” La Gazelle d’Or ” contains a hotel with 87 rooms, 72 bungalows, 52 tents equipped with modern facilities, 14 suites, in addition to a 100-hectare golf course, swimming pools, restaurants and a museum, according to the technical data sheet Which.
The Prime Minister has called for investing and promoting the tourism sector, and this comes in line with the strategy of diversification of the national economy, outside the hydrocarbon sector.
The Prime Minister, who was accompanied by a ministerial delegation, inaugurated and visited a series of socio-economic projects and facilities in the sectors of Agriculture, Health, Youth and Sports, Transport, Housing, Vocational Training and Tourism.
