Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal ‘s working visit to the province of El-Oued kicked off, on Saturday, as part of the implementation of President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika’s programme, APS reported.
The Prime Minister kicked off his visit with a visit to a private agricultural exploitation in Daya, municipality of Sidi-Aoun, stretching over an area of 45 hectares irrigated through 15 bore wells, including 25 ha irrigated via drip system.
The exploitation employs some 13 permanent and 30 seasonal workers.
In this aspect, Sellal received some details on the farm as well as development of the agricultural sector in the province of El Oued.
The prime minister, leading a ministerial delegation to El Oued, will inaugurate a series of projects in various fields, namely, Agriculture, Health, Youth and Sports, Transport, Housing, Professional Training and Tourism.
