World Para Athletics Grand Prix (2 nd day): Algeria still dominating

Algerians continued to dominate on the second day of the 2017 World Para Athletics Dubai Grand Prix at the city’s Club for the Disabled, Inside the games reported.

Three-time world champion Safia Delai led the way with a F57 javelin world record of 25.95 metres with her third throw.

The 34-year-old added 24 centimetres to her own record to beat team-mate Nadia Medjmedj in the combined F56/57 category.

Boudjadar won for the second successive day with an F33 African record of 5.88m in the shot put.

Team-mate and F32 world silver medallist Mounia Gasmi finished second with 4.86m.
