A boulevard in Niamey, capital of Niger, was named, on Thursday, after the president of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika, APS reported.
Prime Minister ,Abdelmalek Sellal, and his counterpart of Niger, Brigi Rafini, who co-chaired the works of the first Algeria-Niger High Joint Commission, have attended the naming ceremony.
In this aspect, the mayor of Niamey said that the decision to name this 1.3-km long boulevard after President Bouteflika, comes from the president of the Republic of Niger, Mahamadou Issoufou, hailing the friendly and fraternity relations between the two peoples of Algeria and Niger.
