Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal, held, on Thursday in Niamey , discussions with his Nigerian counterpart, Brighi Rafina, RadioAlgerie reported.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Maghreb Affairs, African Union and the Arab League, Abdelkader Messahel and Minister of the Interior and Local Assemblies, Noureddine Badawi and Minister of Post and Media and Communication Technologies, Huda Pharaoh, as well as members of the Nigerian government.
The two officials reviewed bilateral ties as well as means to further upgrade the level of bilateral relations and cooperation.
The parties also broached issues of common concern, particularly those related to the stakes and the challenges of development in the region as well as the latest developments in the region.
