Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal, who is on a working visit to Niger, attended, on Wednesday a presentation on the projects which are being implemented by the Algerian companies in North Niger, APS reported.
This presentation, held in Algeria’s embassy in Niger, allowed Prime Minister to enquire about the progress of the trans-Saharan section (Algiers-Lagos) crossing this country.
In this aspect, the completion of the works of Niger’s section, 220km long, will be in December 2018.
Prime Minister listened also to a presentation by the company SIPEX, subsidiary of Sonatrach group, in charge of oil exploration abroad, which inked in August 2015 a production sharing agreement with Niger’s government.
