The Speaker ofAlgeria follows with interest latest developments in its geo-political neighborhood, Ould Khalifa, Mohamed Larbi Ould Khalifa, said, on Wednesday, that Algeria is following with interest what is happening in its geo-political neighborhood , highlighting its efforts to restore peace in the Arab and African countries, suffering from internal crises, through national reconciliation and renouncing violence, APS reported.
Ould Khalifa stressed, during a meeting with the heads of the diplomatic missions representing the countries of Latin America, led by Ambassador of Mexico, Juan Jose Gonzalez Macharis, that Algeria, which fought terrorism as well as social scourges, is following with great interest what is happening in its geo-political neighborhood, said a statement of People’s National Assembly.
He added that, Algeria is determined, under the guidance of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelaziz Bouteflika, to restore peace and stability in the countries of the Arab and African regions, suffering from internal crises.
On the other hand, the official welcomed, during the meeting, the privileged relations of friendship and cooperation between Algeria and Latin America.
