Ahmad Ahmad from Madagascar has been elected as a President of the Confederation of African Football for a four-year term (2017-2021), Ennahar TV reported on Thursday.

Ahmad Ahmad has obtained 34 votes against 20 for Issa Hayatou, putting an end to the reign of the Cameroonian, who spent 28 years ruling the CAF, according to the same source.
