1st session of Algerian-Nigerian Great Joint Commission kicks off in Niamey

The first session of the joint Algerian-Nigerian Great Commission kicked off its proceedings, this Thursday in Niamey, co-chaired by Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal, and his Nigerien counterpart, Brighi Rafina, RadioAlgerie reported.

The session is attended by economists from both countries.

The two parties will evaluate the bilateral relations as well as means to further upgrade the level of bilateral political ties.

The parties also will address the issues of common concern, particularly those related to the stakes and the challenges of development in the region.
In this aspect, this session will culminate in the signing of memorandums of understanding and cooperation agreements, covering various sectors.
