These officials has stressed, in remarks to Anadol on sidelines of World Space Congress wrapped up , last Wednesday, in the capital of Abu Dhabi, the need to develop all forms of cooperation between the states, bodies and institutions related to Arab space industry, to develop capabilities of Arab satellite channel, the same source added.
According to data from Anadol, UAE is the largest investor in the region in space industry; with more than 20 billion Dirhams (5.44 billion dollars), during 15 years ago, and the growth in volume of investments of around 10% per year.
Mohamed Nasser Al Ahbabi, UAE governmental space Agency Director General, said that there is a tendency in Arab world, toward the space sector and increase level of regional cooperation; therefore, it is necessary to find new ways to develop forms of cooperation.
Anadol has stressed that UAE is working on the issue of legal frameworks and regulations related to organizing space sector in the state, stressing on their importance in regulation of space activities and the immediate future.
