Blasts wound 33 people in central Philippines


    Police and government officials said on Thursday that two bombs went off late on Wednesday when hundreds of people had gathered to watch an amateur boxing competition in Hilongos, in Leyte Province 

    16 of wounded had been taken to nearby hospitals and the rest had been treated on scene by paramedics. At least 10 children, aged seven to 15, were among the injured.

    It is worth mentioning that no suspects have been identified in connection with bomb attacks, and no individual or group has claimed responsibility for the explosions.
