Blatter deserves the Nobel Prize, Vladimir Putin says

     FIFA president Joseph Blatter has been heard, on Thursday, December 17, by the Ethics Committee of FIFA to explain on suspicion of corruption.

    Mr Blatter is a "respectable man" who deserves the Nobel Peace Prize because of "his colossal contribution in the humanitarian field and his considerable work for football in the world ", said today Russian President Vladimir Putin during his traditional annual press conference, while the Fifa was rocked by a corruption scandal, in particular, on the conditions of attribution of the organization of 2016 World Cup in Russia.

    Blatter suspended as well from office a few days after the opening of judicial proceedings against him in Switzerland for a payment of 1.8 million euros for the UEFA president Michel Platini, but also because he is suspected of having signed a media rights agreement alleged disloyalty to FIFA regarding the 2010 and 2014 world cups.
