Mohammed Tahar Houam, 56, a retired officer, was killed by a gunshot to the head in the city of Ilheus, Bahia, in southern Brazil, said the source.
On August 23, the deceased had taken a taxi with his Brazilian wife. An armed man broke into the car and pointed a gun at him. The other man snatched their gold watch, rings, gold objects, documents, bank cards and wallet. In attempting to respond, he was shot in the head. He died instantly. Police said his wife was not injured.
